I know this is a bit out of the way, but this was just too bizarre to pass up.

Ahlgrim's Funeral Home has coverted their entire basement to a nine hole miniature golf course.

The course is free of charge. Ahlgrim's just asks that we clean up after we leave and have to be out by 5:00 when the funeral home closes.

There is a Metra stop just seven blocks from the course. According to the Metra schedule, there's a train that leaves Ogilve Station (corner Madison & Canal) at 12:30 and arrives at Palatine at 1:24. We've got the course reserved until 5:00.

We can also plan carpools. If you're planning on driving and can take others, please indicate in your RSVP how many you're able to take along with where and when you plan on leaving. If you need a ride, show that in your RSVP as well.

UPDATE:

I spoke with the funeral home today and there's no funerals scheduled so we're definitely on for Saturday at 2:00!
